Hello and welcome to my page. My name is Kári and I am a 32 years old computer science graduate. I graduated Reykjavík University in June 2016. The last semester of my studies I worked as an intern at Fraunhofer CESE in Maryland, USA. I am born and raised in Reykjavík, Iceland where I am currently located at the moment but have strong roots to Sweden where I lived for many years. I am a former player for the Icelandic national team in table tennis and played as a semi professional for couple of years. My main passion are sports and that is what I spend most of my free time on. I was the chairman of the Icelandic Athleets Commission from 2023-2025 and have been boardmember of the The National Olympic and Sports Association of Iceland since 2023. Refreeing football is a big passion of mine these last couple of years but I have refreed over 300 games. My goal is to refree in highest league in Iceland in the comming years, I am also a registered international table tennis umpire. I am a part time sports journalist for Vísir where I get to commentate on football, handball and basketball matches.
